Brass Master Class 2011 cancelled!

The Illinois Brass Quintet and the Metropolis staff are very sorry to have to cancel this years' edition of the Metropolis Brass Master class in Japan.
Under the given circumstances, we all feel that helping the people who are suffering from the earthquake is an absolute priority at this moment. Therefore, several initiatives have been taken to raise funds to help the victims in Japan.
We wish all the people in Japan very much courage and perseverance for rebuilding their country, and to the families of the victims, we offer our sincere condolences.

イリノイ金管五重奏団とメトロポリススタッフ一同、今回日本での国際メトロポリス音楽講習会をキャンセルしなければならない事、心よりお詫び申し上げます。
今の日本の状況下では災害に遭われた方の一刻も早い支援と、復旧が優先されます。
その為の支援活動、募金活動が世界各国で行われ、一日も早い日本の復旧を祈っています。
被災でお亡くなりになられた方々のご冥福を心よりお祈りし、いまでも避難を苦にされている方々に早期復旧が実現されるよう応援しております。
